Overprinted bandanas have a background pattern with either an overlaid image or text on top.

Usually imprinted text is used on top of a simple pattern like camouflage, Tie Dye or a patriotic flag.  Use overprinted bandanas to announce a wedding or special birthday.  These bandanas are perfect for subtle advertising and propaganda, as well.

But keep in mind that generally simpler patterns work best, because some designs might clash if a 2-color print is not used to mask out the background.

    • Keep your text large.
    • Avoid fine lines and fine detail.
    • Keep the design simple.
    • Use a one-color imprint, usually white or a color that contrasts with the background.
